A man was fatally shot in West Garfield Park Thursday night on the West Side.
Around 10:10 p.m., a 34-year-old man was found on the sidewalk unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to his body in the 4000 block of West Wilcox Street, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody.
