“Dancing with the Stars” contestant Danielle Fishel is bringing ‘90s nostalgia to the ballroom and making “Boy Meets World” fans’ dreams come true. The actress is reuniting with her former on-screen teacher, William Daniels, for a special performance on the show’s Dedication Night, airing live Tuesday, Oct. 14.

On her “Danielle with the Stars” podcast, Fishel announced that the 98-year-old actor, best known as Mr. Feeny, will join her and professional partner Pasha Pashkov on the ballroom floor. “Mr. Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me,” she said, revealing that Daniels will also “participate in the dance as well.”

Fishel shared that she and Pashkov will perform a jive to the “Boy Meets World” theme song, calling the tribute “crazy” but deeply meaningful. “It’s really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role “Boy Meets World” has played in my life,” she said on the podcast. She told Entertainment Weekly that Daniels continues to motivate her as both a performer and a person. “He is 98 years old. He was a child actor. He’s had the most incredible career,” Fishel said. “To see him at 98 still going to conventions — he’s gonna be on the ballroom floor next week — it’s amazing.”

Dedication Night on “DWTS” gives contestants a chance to honor the people who’ve shaped their lives — and for Fishel, that person is her lifelong mentor. “He’s such an inspiration to so many of us,” she said. “To be able to say thank you to him and give him this kind of platform for him to receive the love that he deserves is going to be very memorable.”

Fans flooded the “Pod Meets World” podcast’s Instagram post confirming the news, which read: “IT’S OFFICIAL. NEXT TUESDAY NIGHT. Danielle brings John Adams High to the ballroom for Dedication Night on Dancing with the Stars. Get ready for F…F…F…Feeny.” One user commented, “Giving the people what we want. YESSSSSSS!” while another added, “This will be a special dance especially for the millennials ❤️🥹.”

Daniels’ wife, actress Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, previously told People that her husband “adores the whole cast of “Boy Meets World” and “misses that experience with them.” She explained that he thrives on community: “He likes to be part of a group. That’s what really keeps you going.”

Nostalgia and Reunion on the Dance Floor

Daniels, who turned 98 in March, remains an enduring figure for fans of the ’90s sitcom. He’s continued to make appearances at conventions and on the “Pod Meets World” podcast with Fishel and co-stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle, celebrating milestones together and revisiting fan-favorite memories.

Fishel hinted that Dedication Night will be even more special, teasing that some of her “Boy Meets World” co-stars will be in the audience. “Some people I’m shocked are able to be there, but I’m so happy are able to be there. It’s gonna be really special,” she said.

For Fishel, returning to television through DWTS has been more than a career milestone — it’s a reflection of how far she’s come since her Topanga days. “I have really felt like Dancing with the Stars has been a second act for me in my career and as a performer,” she said.
