Entertainment industry icon Tommy Lee Jones’ youngest child, Victoria Jones, has died. She was found dead on January 1 in a San Francisco hotel, USA Today reports. She was 34. This is a look back at Victoria’s life, with five fast facts.

Like her famous father, Victoria was initially interested in working in the entertainment industry and had several small acting roles. They included her acting debut with “Men in Black II” in 2002, an episode of the hit series “One Tree Hill,” and the 2005 film, “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.” 

She Appeared in Tommy Lee Jones’ Film

Victoria’s most significant role was in “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada,” which was directed by Jones. “She had to get up at 5 a.m. for her part,” Jones said of his daughter’s role in the film in a 2006 interview with The New Yorker. “One morning, she wouldn’t get out of bed. I said, ‘Honey, this is work.’ But she wouldn’t budge. So I fired her. Then, without telling me, the production staff went over and woke her and rushed her out to the set just in time.”

She Could Speak Spanish

Victoria could speak Spanish, and her father proudly shared this in an interview with The New Yorker in 2006. “She’s a good actress, has her SAG card, speaks impeccable Spanish … When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish,” he said. 

Victoria Has a Brother

Victoria was born in 1991 and is the daughter of Jones and his ex-wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. Almost ten years earlier, Victoria’s brother, Austin Jones, was born on November 9, 1982. Austin has worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, but he is also a musician, People reports.

Their parents were married from 1981 to 1996. Jones married his current wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, in 2001.

She Was a Private Person

Despite having a hugely famous father, little is known about Victoria and Austin, who chose to live their lives away from the limelight.
