According to reporting from the New York Post, Dendy Griffin shared an aerial photo of PNC Park on Instagram as he prepared for his long-awaited MLB debut against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday. She captioned it with one word that captured the mood in Pittsburgh: “Tomorrow!!!!”
The excitement made sense. This is more than just another prospect call. Griffin began the season as MLB Pipeline’s top prospect, and the Pirates called him up Thursday for what has quickly become one of baseball’s most anticipated debuts.
