David Haye is astounded that people don’t agree with his ‘misogynistic’ comments about women in 2026.
The former professional boxer, 45, ruffled plenty of feathers in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp when he pre-filmed the second All Stars series in South Africa last September.
Living among the likes of Beverley Callard, Harry Redknapp, Scarlett Moffatt, and Gemma Collins, David wasn’t shy about expressing his opinions, even when they were far from popular.
Arguably his most controversial moment came when he discussed his romance with model Sian Osborne, whom he’s dated since 2020.
The heavyweight champ said that, while she is ‘lovely’, she ‘has the personality of a proper ugly bird’, calling it ‘ugly duckling syndrome’, where ‘girls are ugly when they start off, then they get pretty as they get older, but they’ve still got the personality of when they were ugly.’

Viewers and campmates alike were stunned by David’s remarks, branding him ‘sexist’ and ‘disgusting’, with some at home even switching off.
Now, following Friday night’s dramatic final, David has conducted his own research to see what people really think.
Taking to Instagram, he uploaded a poll asking: ‘Am I right or am I wrong?’
The outcome, however, was not what he expected, as a mere 13% agreed with him, while 87% told him he was incorrect.
Responding to the results, the athlete shared a video this weekend in which he ranted about people being ‘triggered’ by his comments.
‘So, I did a poll yesterday, and I was very shocked at the results. Couldn’t believe it. Apparently, I’m wrong,’ he began on Sunday, filming himself in his car.
‘I asked, “Am I right or am I wrong?” Or “Am I correct in my opinions, or am I incorrect?” Over 85% of people said I was incorrect. I wasn’t expecting that. I thought I was right. I really thought I was right.’

He continued: ‘I always thought that girls who happened to win the human lottery and are tall, attractive to the masses, have it easier going through life. In general, obviously, there are exceptions to every rule.
‘But as a general rule, their personalities – I’m not talking about, not the pretty girl in your pub, that type of pretty. I mean, like, supermodel. Not those chubby Instagram models either. I mean the proper ones where, if you met them in real life, not just all airbrushed up, you’d look at them and go, “God damn, are you real?” Those ones.’
‘But no,’ he stated sarcastically. ‘People believe their personality, even though they’ve had all those advantages in life growing up, will be identical to some bird whose parents are short, fat, and ugly.’
David added that the girls in question have supposedly ‘realised’ that they have to ‘bring something additional to the table’.
‘They obviously, themselves, have realised that, but me bringing it up, people get triggered, really, really triggered.’
‘What are you upset about? Am I wrong?’, he asked, incredulous. ‘Is there no such thing as pretty privilege? Isn’t that, like, a thing? But no. The question, it’s even terrible bringing it up.
‘What, you can’t bring up ugly, fat girls needing to do more than tall, beautiful girls, no? That’s not a thing? Damn.’
He concluded, hitting out at his critics: ‘Over 85% think I’m wrong. That means there are not a lot of sensible people left in the world.
‘But what are ya gonna do? Just gonna navigate the world with all these stupid a**e people in it. It’s hilarious.’
In the replies, users weren’t afraid to put him in his place, with @the_woodland writing: ‘The fact that you don’t understand why you’re wrong is absolutely wild.’
‘Stop talking about women’s looks for god sake!’, demanded @orshilondon.
@jonnygiles13 told David to ‘get a life and move on’, while @glittergirl1963 called him ‘vile’.
‘Your options are cruel & offensive . Until you are perfect then keep nasty comments to yourself! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’, commented @dee_emmy_bee.
It comes after David and campmate Jimmy Bullard were reportedly ‘kicked out’ of the I’m A Celeb live final in London after coming to blows with Adam Thomas on air.
Of course, hosts Ant and Dec had to bring up the blazing row between Jimmy and Adam, who argued after Jimmy quit a Bushtucker Trial that almost compromised teammate Adam’s time in camp.
Fuming, Adam stormed over and asked what he was ‘playing at’, while Jimmy admitted he wanted to leave.
As the heated exchange was discussed in the final, Jimmy accused the Waterloo Road star of ‘abusive, aggressive, and intimidating’ behaviour, claiming the full picture was not shown, including the alleged ‘C-bombs’ Adam used at him.
Ant and Dec reminded Jimmy that such expletives are ‘unbroadcastable’, while Adam took responsibility for his actions and insisted he has ‘nothing but love’ for the former footballer.
Still, this didn’t end the shouting match, as David also weighed in, accusing the show of editing footage to make Adam look like a ‘victim’.
Dec quickly shut this down, reminding him, ‘David, you weren’t even there!’, while the likes of Sinitta walked off the stage upset at how the celebration had descended into chaos.
Ant was also praised for interjecting, disagreeing that the moment between Jimmy and Adam was aggressive: ‘No, it wasn’t. I was there.’
Ultimately, Adam had the last laugh, as a public vote saw him emerge as the latest Jungle Legend. Sadly, though, his win was undeniably overshadowed by the feud, as the soap star looked upset, even when taking to the throne for his crowning moment.
