Jake Hall’s brother Sonny has shared an emotional tribute after the Towie star’s death last week.

The former reality TV star and fashion designer, 35, was found dead on Wednesday at a holiday villa in Majorca.

Tributes from the world of TV have remembered Hall after the incident, with his ex and mother of their daughter River, Misse Beqiri, saying their hearts are ‘shattered’.

His brother has now taken to social media to share a heartbreaking poem titled The Dragonfly, which is often used to explain death to children.

The story is of a water beetle who climbs from the bottom of a pond onto a lily pad before transforming into a beautiful dragonfly.

The post received support from reality stars and friends of Jake, with Georgia Harrison writing: ‘Sending you so much love sonny I’m thinking of you all the time ❤️❤️.’

The pair shared a close bond, with Jake praising his brother for launching a music career.

Jake wrote in 2024: ‘You worked so f*****g hard to achieve what you did today it took a lot blood sweat and tears i know and im proud of you go enjoy today you deserve it my little big brother.’

The fashion influencer died last week having been found with head injuries in a pool of blood at a holiday villa in Majorca. His wounds were apparently caused by shards of glass.

He was on the island with his daughter, River, whom he featured in his social media posts just hours before his death, sweetly declaring the eight-year-old ‘my world’.

Hall, who joined The Only Way is Essex in 2015, welcomed his only child while in a relationship with Beqiri, 39. They had an on-off romance for five years.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the Real Housewives of Cheshire star shared a series of snaps of Hall with River, including one taken when she was born.

In a deeply personal statement, she began: ‘I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable.

‘There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.

‘You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. The way you loved music, how deeply you felt every sound, your creativity, your mind, your spirit.

‘You were so deeply loved by so many people, and seeing the love everyone has for you is both heartbreaking and beautiful all at once.’

The model sweetly recalled: ‘Your constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile.’

She went on to say she ‘loved’ Hall from ‘the very first moment’ she saw him.

‘Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words. Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her.

Jake Hall’s death – What we know

Police found Jake Hall lying in a pool of blood with fatal injuries caused by shards of glass after he reportedly smashed his head through a door.

The former Towie star had been in Majorca with witnesses informing investigators he had been ‘partying all night and decided to carry on the party back at the place he was renting’.

Police were called to the rented property at 7.30am and have interviewed four men and two women staying at the house.

A neighbour told local paper Ultima Hora: ‘It must have been around 2am. It was late but I was still awake.

‘I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something. I felt the walls vibrate. They stopped after about five minutes and then I fell asleep.’

Another neighbour said she hadn’t heard anything out of the ordinary.

Hall’s body was removed from the property at around 1pm yesterday.

There have been no arrests and an autopsy will take place in the Majorcan capital Palma.

‘She adored you – her favourite person, her daddy.’

Beqiri concluded by saying how ‘missed’ he will be, vowing to ‘keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love [he] gave so effortlessly’.

‘You are at peace now.’

She signed off by saying Hall will ‘live on’ through River, saying how ‘grateful’ she is for his ‘mini version’.
