Jessica Alba is a mom to three children, Honor, Haven, and Hayes, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Cash Warren. But this week was their eldest child’s big moment: Honor Warren graduated from high school. The special milestone was marked by both Alba and her ex-husband, who took to Instagram to celebrate their daughter with heartfelt posts about what it meant to them.

On Friday, May 29, Alba shared photos from Honor’s graduation ceremony. She looks gorgeous! In one picture, the proud mom gives her daughter a kiss on the cheek. She also shared throwback photos of Honor, a photo of herself and all three of her children, and an excerpt from “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” by Dr. Seuss. However, it was the caption that really caught fans’ attention, as Alba shared a beautiful, emotional message about her feelings regarding Honor’s career achievement. 

“My baby girl graduated yesterday and my heart aches with pride,” Alba began her lengthy message. “To my Honorcita – It feels like yesterday I was holding you in my arms, and in the blink of an eye, you’re standing here ready for your next chapter. When I close my eyes, I can still see the little girl who wanted one more bedtime song, one more story, and endless cuddles. And now, you’re graduating.”

She continued, “Honor, what I’ve always admired most about you is that you’ve never been afraid to be exactly who you are. You never followed the crowd, never settled for who others expected you to be, and never stopped chasing what felt true to you. You move through the world with conviction, curiosity, kindness, and a courage that inspires everyone around you. Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. To say I’m proud of you is an understatement.” 

To sign off, Alba let her daughter know how much she loves her and how being her mom is “one of the greatest gifts” of her life.
