A dramatic new video of a Disneyland visitor stepping out of a moving log at the top of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure shows the 13-year-old boy plummeting head first down the 50-foot-tall drop hill in a terrifying fall he was lucky to escape without any serious injuries.
New video obtained by TMZ shows real-time and slow-motion footage captured by a Disneyland visitor on Sunday, June 21 of the boy tumbling down the water-covered track as the log flume ride vehicle races ahead of him.

Disneyland officials told TMZ that attractions like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are designed with multiple safety measures and Disneyland security and medical teams are trained to respond quickly in situations like this.

TMZ issued a “fair warning” to anyone watching the video that shows the boy falling down the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure drop hill and his “lucky escape.”
“If you’ve ever been on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, or any similar log ride, you might want to look away,” according to TMZ.
The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday and the ride remained closed for the rest of the evening. A cast member immediately stopped the attraction, according to Disneyland officials.
The unidentified teenager was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of minor cuts and scrapes and later released.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure reopened on Monday, June 22, according to Disneyland officials.
The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health’s Amusement Ride & Tramway Unit investigated the incident on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and found no operational issues with the Disneyland attraction.
Disneyland transformed Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024. The log flume ride has no lap bars or seat belts.
