Fans who missed out on tickets to the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival will have another chance to attend by volunteering in their community.
Festival organizers announced the Daisy Chain Reaction Volunteer Drive, a new partnership with nonprofit organization L.A. Works that encourages participants to complete volunteer service across Los Angeles in exchange for a chance to win tickets to the sold-out event.
The initiative aims to inspire a collective 1,000 hours of volunteer service while awarding 250 general admission tickets to eligible participants through a sweepstakes. Once volunteers collectively reach the 1,000-hour milestone, each person who completed a qualifying volunteer shift through L.A. Works will be entered for a chance to win two general admission tickets to Daisy Chain Fields.
The inaugural festival is scheduled for Aug. 29 at Great Park in Irvine and will feature performances by Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Garbage, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Santigold and more. The event sold out shortly after tickets went on sale.
To be eligible, participants must register for and complete a qualifying volunteer shift through L.A. Works during the sweepstakes period. Volunteer opportunities will support a variety of community organizations and causes throughout Los Angeles.
According to organizers, the initiative is designed to extend the festival’s mission beyond the concert grounds by encouraging community involvement ahead of the event.
