A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Tuesday on the Near West Side.
The man, 28, was found with gunshot wounds to the body in the first block of North Leavitt Street around 3:05 a.m., Chicago police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was in critical condition, police said.
Area 3 detectives were investigating.
