Darline Graham Slammed by Pro-Life Board Member, “This Endorsement Is Inexcusable”

The National Right to Life and South Carolina Citizens for Life Federal PAC endorsed Darline Graham on Wednesday, the sister of the late U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who is serving out the end of her brother’s term and running to keep his seat in November.

The federal PAC made the announcement on social media and wrote: “Darline Graham will provide South Carolina with a strong pro-life voice and stand firmly in defense of unborn children, their mothers, and every vulnerable human life.”

Several pro-life advocates are balking at the endorsement, including SC Citizens for Life board member Randy Page, who replied, “This endorsement is ill advised and inexcusable. Effective immediately, I am resigning as a member of the board of @LIFEforSC.”

Page added: “Darline Graham donated to and voted for a pro-abortion state senator that killed a major pro-life bill on the Senate floor. That’s a problem.”

Page was asked on social media to elaborate on his decision. He reiterated, “She voted for and gave money to a pro-abortion senator who killed major pro-life legislation on the Senate floor,” adding, “The SD 23 election of 2024 was about abortion. Period. Full stop.”

[NOTE: According to conservative political pundit Tara Servatius: “Darline Graham’s only political donation, $100, was to Sen. Katrina Shealy, the leader of the pro-choice “Sister Senator” Caucus in the SC state senate. Graham’s donation came AFTER Shealy filibustered the prolife heartbeat bill and stopped it.”]

Page added of Ms. Graham, “If you say you’re pro-life, you’re pro-life. You don’t vote for and donate to a pro-abortion friend who just killed a major piece of pro-life legislation on the Senate floor. That State Senate race was all about abortion. Period. Full stop.”

Page added, “I’ve been on the board for a long time. I’ve worked from within. This endorsement was beyond the pale. It’s as simple as that.”

Former state Rep. Adam Morgan (R-SC), whom Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) said he would pick as his Lt. Gov. if he won the 2026 gubernatorial election, also responded and wrote to NRLC, “Do some research and rescind this endorsement.”

[NOTE: Norman lost the GOP gubernatorial primary and is now running against Graham for the Senate seat.]

Conservative advocate Erik Telford also backed Page’s concerns by sharing video of Darline Graham (below) being asked if she’d support a conception‑ban on abortion. Graham replied, “I don’t know. Let me think about it.” Telford wrote: “Pro-life endorsement, followed by candidate not being sure if they’re pro-life?”
