The Calabasas football team edged Alemany Friday, opening the season with a dramatic victory in a nonleague game.
With 3.3 seconds left on the 32-yard line, Calabasas quarterback Dominik Hardy tossed the football to the end zone where wide receiver Jayce Campos caught the game winning touchdown on the final play of the game.
Alemany senior Tabary McKnight scored three first-half touchdowns, including an interception return as Alemany built a 20-14 lead.
Alemany running back Angel Torres put the Warriors ahead, 26-21, with a touchdown with 54.3 seconds left in the game before Hardy engineered the game-winning drive for Calabasas.
