<p id=”par-1_7″>Ben McKenzie is headed to <em>Sheriff Country. </em></p>
<p id=”par-2_20″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-oc-ben-mckenzie-bit-of-an-a-costar.html/”><em>The O.C. </em>alum</a> will guest star in season 2 of the CBS drama, which stars his real-life wife, Morena Baccarin. </p>
<p id=”par-3_64″>In the season 2 premiere, titled “Cyclone,” McKenzie will play Sheriff Wade, a neighboring law enforcement officer who helps Sheriff Mickey Fox (Baccarin) on a case. This marks the first time the pair have appeared together onscreen in the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cbs-franchise-fire-country-another-expansion.html/”><em>Fire Country </em>spinoff</a>. But it’s not the first time they’ve acted together. The couple’s romance began in 2014, when they were both starring Fox’s <em>Gotham. </em></p>

<p id=”par-4_55″>In “Cyclone,” Mickey is struggling to process a shocking revelation about her family while also racing to save a troubled young woman whose descent into a dangerous criminal operation uncovers a growing threat to all of Edgewater. Sheriff Wade – who has a few secrets of his own – is called in to assist her. </p>
<p id=”par-5_14″>Baccarin teased McKenzie’s <em>Sheriff Country </em>debut in a short video shared on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/Dcbi3yph0nZ/?hl=en”>Instagram</a>. </p>
