A woman was dead after she was pulled from Lake Michigan Sunday morning on the South Side.
The woman, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was pulled from the water around 10:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, police said. Her name and cause of death were not immediately available.
Area 1 detectives were conducting a death investigation.
