A 29-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting Saturday evening in Humboldt Park, according to Chicago police.
The man had been near a sidewalk along the 700 block of North Ridgeway Avenue when he was struck in the buttocks at 7:55 p.m., police said.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and was reported in critical condition, according to police.
Detectives are investigating. No suspects are in custody.
