Hundreds of Japanese animation enthusiasts gathered recently in Redondo Beach to explore and support work by local anime artists.
Anime Alley by the Beach took place Aug. 28 at the Historic Redondo Beach Library, one of the latest events at the newly reopened event venue and community center overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

At the Anime Alley, hosted by the historic library with SoCal Anime Events, attendees bought artwork from 30 anime illustrators and artists throughout Southern California, and met other members of the regional anime community.
