A Northwest Side man is accused of a string of sexual abuse attacks that occurred Friday in Avondale.
Zayer Picado-Sevilla, 33, was charged with felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse causing bodily harm and attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault causing bodily harm in addition to driving with a never-issued license and citations for obstructing a driver’s view and carrying alcohol as a driver, Chicago police said.
Those attacks occurred between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday in the 3400 block of North Springfield Avenue, 3900 block of North Cornelia Avenue and 3300 block of North Avers Avenue, police said. Picado-Sevilla is accused of grabbing women from behind and fondling them over their clothing before fleeing.
Picado-Sevilla, of the 3500 block of North Kilbourn Avenue, is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing Wednesday at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.
