Chicago police are investigating three reports of sexual abuse in Avondale, according to an alert.
Police said an unidentified man grabbed multiple women from behind and fondled them over their clothing before fleeing.
The reported incidents occurred on Friday at the following locations between 8 and 9 p.m.:
- 3400 block of North Springfield Avenue
- 3900 block of North Cornelia Avenue
- 3300 block of North Avers Avenue
Police described the unidentified attacker as a Hispanic man around 20-40 years old wearing a dark-colored polo shirt featuring a red stripe, a dark baseball cap and white sneakers, police said.
He was seen driving a red sedan following one of the assaults, according to police.
Police are urging residents to report any suspicious behavior immediately. Anyone with information is asked to contact Area 5 detectives at 312-746-6554.
