<p id=”par-1_23″>It’s safe to say that love was not blind for one woman on season 11 of Netflix’s hit dating show, <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/1-couple-love-is-blind-season-8-still-together.html/”>Love Is Blind</a>. </em></p>
<p id=”par-2_84″>Jax, a 31-year-old entrepreneur, connected with Stew, a 34-year-old director of engineering, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/love-is-blind-creator-chris-coelen-came-pods.html/”>in the pods</a>. The pair got engaged, but soon after they met face-to-face for the first time, Jax pulled out of the experiment. Not only did she tell producers that she wanted to go home, she said she didn’t want to have a final conversation with Stew to explain her reason for breaking the engagement. Stew learned that she had left via a producer, and he was clearly blindsided by her move. </p>

<p id=”par-3_57″>What went wrong with Jax and Stew’s romance? They were aligned on issues such as lifestyle and finances and enjoyed joking and talking with each other. But the vibe was off during the reveal, Jax told <a href=”https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/love-is-blind-season-11-jax-and-stew-still-together” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Tudum</a>. Stew came off as “really cocky” and the moment was “not romantic at all.” She decided to cut her losses.</p>
<p id=”par-4_21″>Was Jax and Stew’s breakup inevitable? Believers in astrology might think so. Jax is a Taurus, while Stew is a Gemini. </p>
<p id=”par-5_28″>Taurus women like Jax are practical and value stability. That came through in a big way in the pods, and it’s part of what attracted her to Stew. </p>
<p id=”par-6_36″>“We’re very, very practical people,” she told Tudum. “So it was less lovey-dovey and more like, ‘How do you want to spend your holidays? Where do you want to vacation? Where do you want to live?’” </p>
<p id=”par-7_40″>Jax also wanted financial security. “I like to know that our lifestyles are going to match … I like to spend money, so I need a partner that can be OK with that but also rein it in,” she said. </p>
<p id=”par-8_40″>A Bull like Jax also wants a devoted partner who is fully committed to them. That’s where a big red flag came up with Stew. In the pods, he admitted that he’d never been in love before, which alarmed Jax. </p>
<p id=”par-9_24″>“I love very deeply, and I’ve been in love many times … so for someone to not have that feeling is alarming,” she said. </p>

<p id=”par-10_45″>Meanwhile, Stew’s curious and spontaneous Gemini nature initially made him attractive to Jax. Geminis are natural conversationalists who enjoying getting to know other people. But a person born under the sign of The Twins can also come across as flighty and hard to pin down.</p>
<p id=”par-11_35″>“It’s very rare for me to have a weekend back in Boston, and I want someone who’s willing to, at the drop of a hat, join in on some of those adventures,” he told Tudum.</p>
<p id=”par-12_20″>Even when he got engaged to Jax, he admitted that he wasn’t necessarily thinking about making it to the altar. </p>
<p id=”par-13_50″>“I wasn’t like, ‘This is it. This is the one,’” he said. “It was more about, ‘This has been such a trip, and everything about you is a green light so far. I’d be crazy not to follow this through and take that next step and see where it leads.’” </p>
<p id=”par-14_21″>Fortunately for Stew, that Gemini detachment and emotional distance seems to have protected him from being too damaged by Jax’s rejection. </p>
<p id=”par-15_47″>“It wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God, I’m crushed. My true love has escaped me,’” he said. “I probably would’ve felt worse if I wasn’t so confident and satisfied with who I was in the pods. It was an honest representation. … I wouldn’t have done anything differently.”</p>
