‘1000-lb Roomies’ Jaz and Nesha Return to TLC: ‘We Black and We Back’

<p id=”par-1_7″>Jaz and Nesha are not slowing down. </p>

<p id=”par-2_18″>The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/1000-lb-roomies-cast-jaz-nesha.html/”>dynamic, plus-sized duo</a> return to TV in season 2 of <em>1000-lb Roomies, </em>premiering August 25 on TLC. </p>

<p id=”par-3_19″>“We still fat, but we Black and we back,” Nesha says in the first teaser for the new episodes. </p>

<p id=”par-4_40″>Season 2 will follow the friends and roommates as they navigates life’s highs and lows while continuing on their health journeys. Following her weight-loss surgery last season, Jaz is focused on regaining her independence and moving forward in her recovery. </p>

<p id=”par-5_28″>“It’s been six months since my surgery,” she shares. “I’m doing everything I can to try and lose weight. I really have to make sure I’m staying active.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_20″>One reason Jaz is motivated to continue her weight loss? She’s hoping to kindle a new romantic spark with someone.</p>

<p id=”par-7_12″>“I want to feel cute. I want to feel sexy,” she says. </p>

<p id=”par-8_31″>Meanwhile, Nesha is busy launching her event planning business, hosting a speed dating event, and confronting the lingering impact of growing up in a religious cult. Managing it all isn’t easy. </p>

<p id=”par-9_17″>“I am doing everything,” she says. “I have so much anxiety about my health, money, Jaz’s health.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_33″>Together, Jaz and Nesha face evolving relationships, personal breakthroughs, and pivotal moments in their wellness journeys. Through every challenge, disagreement, milestone, and triumph, their friendship is tested, strengthened, and transformed in unexpected ways.</p>

<p id=”par-11_38″>In addition to a new season of <em>1000-lb Roomies, </em>fans can also look forward to the return of <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/tammy-slaton-1000-lb-sisters-fellow-tlc-star-love-her.html/”>1000-lb Sisters</a> </em>in September. In the new season, siblings Tammy and Amy Slaton are focused on repairing their damaged relationship. </p>

<p id=”par-12_12″>“Me and Tammy, we’re still rebuilding trust,” Amy says in the teaser. </p>

<p id=”par-13_12″>“It’s going to take time to get that bond back,” Tammy says. </p>

<p id=”par-14_81″>Meanwhile, the sisters are living their best lives. Amy is learning how to drive while also exploring her musical side with some help from AI, while Tammy gets the chance to go horseback riding – an activity that would have been unthinkable for her just a few years ago. She’ll also enter an exciting new chapter when her girlfriend Andrea pops the questions. Tammy’s answer is an enthusiastic “yes,”  but building a future together proves to be more complicated than expected.</p>
