Love Island star Adam Collard was allegedly assaulted by his own father while in Newcastle together.
Billy Collard, who is a multi-millionaire property developer, is set to face a trial in August over the incident from last September.
It’s currently unknown what sparked the alleged scrap, but a spokesperson for the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that he has been charged with assault.
The Daily Mail reported that the court also confirmed Adam was the alleged victim of the assault by beating.
Billy, real name William, will stand trial at Newcastle Magistrates Court on August 7, 2026.

Adam, 30, has always spoken highly of his dad, 56, in public, previously calling him ‘the most inspiring person I know’.

While his son previously sang his praises, this isn’t Billy’s first brush with the law, as he was found to have wrongfully claimed housing benefits in 2008.
He was given a two-year conditional discharge and had to pay £2,000 in court costs after pleading guilty to the £6,000 benefits claim, which he also repaid.
In 2019, HMRC seized £44,000 from him under the Proceeds of Crime Act, however, the money was returned after an appeal.
He was also held by police in 2015 after his neighbour and his daughter were assaulted in a car park.

The Mail spoke to Billy in 2018, asking about the benefits fraud, to which he responded: ‘It is what it is. I did not even get a fine.
‘Me and Adam are completely different. What I do is completely different from what Adam does.
‘I do not really want to comment on Adam being in Love Island. It is not our type of thing.’
Adam rose to fame in 2018 when appearing on the fourth series of the dating show, he then returned to the show in 2022.
After a stint on Celebs Go Dating, he began seeing sports presenter Laura Woods, and the couple are currently expecting their second child.
