Alec and Stephen Baldwin have been involved in a car crash, but have confirmed they are both ‘fine’.

The 67-year-old actor and The Usual Suspects star Stephen, 59, crashed into a tree in the Hamptons on Monday October 13, but they both walked away from the incident without suffering any serious injuries, the brothers have confirmed.

The Departed actor Alec was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred and his wife Hilaria’s white Range Rover SUV suffered significant damage when the vehicle collided face first with a tree in East Hampton.

Taking to Instagram, Alec assured followers he was okay.

‘I crushed my wife’s car and I feel bad about that — but it’s all fine. I’m fine, my brother’s fine.’ He ended the clip with a message to his wife, saying: ‘Hilaria, I love you more than anything and I’m very proud of you.’

Stephen’s representative confirmed to TMZ: ‘Stephen is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well.’

The brothers – who were expected to attend the Hamptons International Film Festival – were seen walking away from the vehicle after the incident, and they were also spotted speaking with police at the scene of the accident.

It’s been a testing few years for Alec, after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot on the set of film Rust by a gun he was holding.

The actor was put on trial for involuntary manslaughter but the case was dismissed in July 2024, after his not guilty plea.

Alec has now sued the prosecutors who tried to have him jailed after Hutchins’ death.

A civil lawsuit for ‘malicious prosecution’ and ‘civil rights violations’ was filed in Santa Fe on January 9.

Meanwhile, Hilaria Baldwin – Alec’s wife – was recently voted off Dancing With the Stars, and she subsequently claimed that she was a victim of online bullying.

The 41-year-old star – who has Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, seven, Eduardo, four, María Lucía, four, and Ilaria, two, with Alec – said on Instagram Live: ‘I did get bullied off the show. I did, that’s for sure. That is for sure.’

Hilaria admitted to feeling disheartened by the online discourse.

She said: ‘There’s a big problem online right now. It’s a big problem.’

Hilaria also confessed to being particularly disappointed when women are critical, rather than supportive, of other women.

She explained: ‘We don’t see each other. We make enemies out of each other. And I’m talking about my fellow women. Women’s inhumanity to women. We need to stop. We will never get anywhere.’

What’s more, Hilaria insisted that the public perception of her doesn’t chime with the reality.

She said in an Instagram video: ‘I would be remiss if I didn’t address the elephant in the room, which is that there was some bullying going on aimed at me over the past few weeks.

‘One of the most common things that people say to me when they meet me – when they actually meet me – is how surprised they are by negativity that I receive, because in reality, I am none of the negative things that some people say and that breaks my heart.’
