âDebbie [Daughtry, the founder] sends me the playlist and I do a dive on the web for salient and fascinating information,â Hanks told People. âStories of the who and the where of the recording and the personalities of the artists. Many crazy stories.â
His birthday broadcast, Songs from the ‘Back of the Station Wagon”, is his latest themed playlist and celebration in one.
The birthday boy is still going strong on the film front. He most recently appeared in Wes Andersonâs “The Phoenician Scheme“, marking his second collaboration with the director, following “Asteroid City”. Earlier in 2024, Hanks also starred in the movie Here.
Next up? Hanks is returning as the beloved voice of Woody in “Toy Story 5”, which is slated to hit theaters on June 19, 2026.
