Carrie Bradshaw is closing her laptop and typing her final words. HBO Max’s “And Just Like That,” the glamorous, drama-packed follow-up to “Sex and the City” starring Sarah Jessica Parker, is coming to an end with one last episode on Thursday, August 14.

SJP Shares Emotional Farewell To Carrie Bradshaw

Showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed earlier this month that after three seasons of love, friendship & plenty of cosmopolitans, the series is saying goodbye.

The revival debuted in late 2021 with three of the four original stars, minus Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones, and picked up the women’s lives 11 years after the original series ended.

Initially billed as a one-off miniseries, the show’s popularity led to two additional seasons.

“Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all. I know others have loved her just as I have,” Parker said in an Instagram post.

“Thank you all. I love you so. I hope you love these final two episodes as much as we all do.”

As the finale of “And Just Like That” approaches, a few couples seem poised for happily-ever-after, if they can sidestep the roadblocks. Anthony and Giuseppe (Sebastiano Pigazzi) are engaged, though Anthony is already second-guessing the match thanks to an age gap, a disapproving future mother-in-law (Patti LuPone), and the shadow of a failed marriage. Still, Giuseppe appears ready to bet it all on love.

Newer duo Seema and Adam (Logan Marshall-Green) are braving family introductions, with Seema gearing up for a tofu Thanksgiving with Adam’s vegan sister. She’s ending the season balancing a booming solo real estate business and a budding romance, and proving Duncan isn’t the only one with a cardigan connection.

Also, another burning question: Will Carrie end up in her old iconic apartment (though it looks nothing like how she left it).

Miranda and Joy (Dolly Wells) have weathered viral memes, awkward karaoke, and meeting each other’s friends, finally opening up about why Miranda doesn’t drink.

Things look steady (Only if you can overlook Joy’s dog obsession). Let’s see how things wrap up for each of them.
