Angry Ginge has finally been forced to come clean about a major I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! controversy.

The 24-year-old Mancunian was crowned King of the Jungle during Sunday’s final, but the YouTuber’s stint on the ITV reality show wasn’t without divisive moments.

Kelly Brooke caused a stir last week when she was evicted from camp and came clean about secretly eating half of the milk bottle sweets from a challenge days prior.

With their co-conspirator out of the way, Ginge and Aitch blamed Kelly for the incident.

‘We’ve got a bunch of people here who want a word with you,’ Dec told him as he reunited with the rest of the cast moments before winning the show.

‘You and Aitch covered up the milk bottle theft. But you haven’t fully come clean yet, have you Ginge? What’ve you got to say for yourself?”

‘I must’ve missed that! You’re joking,’ he quipped as everyone laughed, while he pretended to be surprised to find out there were 20 sweets originally.

Dec continued: ‘You threw Kelly under the bus when you said, “It was all Kelly’s idea.” Is there anything you’d like to say to everybody now they’re gathered here?’

‘Yeah,’ he paused. ‘They were really nice!’

Thankfully, everyone was howling laughing at his honest response, especially when Ant asked if it was ‘worth it’, and he insisted: ‘It was indeed!’

‘There were more than 10 milk bottles, bye,’ Kelly trilled as she walked out of camp last week, as the realisation dawned on Jack Osbourne’s face.

Shona McGarty looked enraged as she said to camera: ‘Remember when I ate the butter? Do you remember how many people were coming for me? Do you remember Kelly coming for me?’

Ginge quickly covered up and fibbed by saying there were 13 sweets, and Kelly ate the first of the extra three, which suggested he and Aitch only ate one extra sweet each.

In fact, the trio split 10 sweets between them, and it was actually Aitch’s idea.

Jack told the other campmates about the ‘thievery’, but Aitch doubled down on the lie, with Ginge saying ‘Kelly’s to blame for that’.

There were no hard feelings from runner-up Tom Read Wilson, who described the winner as a ‘titan of the trials’.

‘You knew he would come back with the whole astral plane,’ he said on today’s Good Morning Britain. ‘I would have had a great pang of guilt if I’d pinched [the crown] from him, to be honest.’

Speaking to The Daily Mail in her first interview since leaving the jungle, Kelly reflected on the moment and explained: ‘It was a joint idea.

‘People weren’t sharing the contraband so that butter should have gone into a nice bowl of rice and shared out between everybody, and it didn’t.

‘Shona ate the lot, so the minute she ate the lot, I was like, right? … Every man for himself, and when we saw those milk bottles, you know, it’s very hard to divide 19 milk bottles between people.’

I’m A Celebrity is available to rewatch on ITVX.
