Britain’s unexpected heatwave feels as though it has grinded the nation to a halt.
From schools closing to tube delays continuing into rush hour, clearly, the UK is not equipped to deal with sweltering 38°C heat.
Central to a lot of this concern has been about how dogs are coping in such extraordinary heat.
However, for one loveable pooch, they appear to be living their best life.
Eagle-eyed BBC Breakfast viewers managed to spot one dog playing around in the water in Richmond Upon Thames while a RSPCA expert discussed how the animals can remain safe.
The dog can be seen with what appears to be a duck in his mouth as they exit the water.

However, after the dog places the duck back onto the ground and it begins to fly away, they jump straight back into the water to swim after it.
Reacting to the moment online, social media users found the blooper hilarious.
One user called @Stannie74 said: ‘Seen this and my husband and I couldn’t stop laughing.’
Andrew also wrote: ‘That looks like a crazy 🤪 spaniel as well🤣🤣’
Cooper added: ‘That is so bad especially considering they were interviewing someone from the RSPCA.’
Helen, meanwhile, called it ‘brilliant’, before saying: ‘I was wondering if i imagined it when i saw it this morning.’

While this dog was certainly enjoying his time in the water, for the 15 million pet dogs in the UK this weather can be very dangerous.
