Beloved Disney Star, 36, Reveals She’s Pregnant With Baby No. 2

Vanessa Hudgens is going to be a mom again! The “High School Musical” alum, 36, revealed she’s expecting her second child with husband Cole Tucker in a joyful Instagram post on Saturday, July 12.

“Round two!!!!” she captioned a carousel of maternity photos featuring the couple twinning in white. In one snap, the MLB player playfully pointed to Hudgens’ baby bump as they posed outside in the sun.

Hudgens’ announcement was quickly met with love from fellow stars. Disney Channel alum Aly Michalka commented, “Omg!!!!!!!! Congrats,” while Jenna Dewan added, “Ohhhhh congratulations my love!!”

Vanessa & Cole’s Love Story Started on Zoom

The couple first met in fall 2020 during a Zoom-led meditation session, and their bond quickly grew. They tied the knot three years later in an intimate destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico.

Hudgens told Vogue in 2023 that their wedding location felt magical and spiritual from the start: “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”

Just days before announcing her pregnancy, Hudgens posted a sweet tribute to Tucker for his 29th birthday on July 3.“Happy birthday to my best friend/lover/partner in life,” she wrote. “@cotuck you’re everything to meeeeeee. No one does it better.” Tucker replied, “You’re the best mama thank you ❤️.”

Baby No. 2 Comes One Year After Their First

Hudgens debuted her first baby bump at the 2024 Oscars, and the couple welcomed their first child in July 2024. At the time, Hudgens shared on Instagram Stories: “Mom, Dad and baby are happy and healthy. It’s a special time.”

They have not publicly shared their first child’s name or gender.

Despite balancing motherhood, Vanessa Hudgens is continuing her work in entertainment and business. She recently launched a baby product line called “A Star Is Born”, inspired by her own experience as a mom, featuring musical toys and cozy essentials.

Next month, she’s set to begin filming “Quiet Storm”, her first lead role since becoming a parent. In the film, she’ll portray a 1969 activist navigating the fight for racial and gender equality amid the devastation of Hurricane Camille.
