YouTube creator Adam The Woo, beloved for his travel and theme-park vlogs, has died at the age of 51, authorities and family members confirm.

The news was confirmed by TMZ, which learned that deputies from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Florida responded to concerns about Adam’s well-being earlier in the day before discovering him unresponsive in his home.

An autopsy has been ordered as officials work to determine the cause of death.

According to the outlet, deputies were initially dispatched to Adam’s residence in Celebration, Florida, around midday after someone requested a wellness check, but were unable to make contact.

Later in the afternoon, another call reporting an unattended death prompted a return to the scene, where first responders found him inside.

A friend — who had seen him the day before and grew concerned — discovered him through a third-floor window and alerted authorities.

Adam’s father, who lives locally, was also notified.

Prior to TMZ’s confirmation, Reddit became flooded with a reported screenshot that his father made on Facebook stating that his son had passed.

“Out beloved Adam, our Son was found dead in his home this afternoon. Keep us in your prayers please,” the screenshot stated.

Born David Adam Williams, “Adam The Woo” became one of YouTube’s most recognizable vloggers through his engaging explorations of amusement parks, roadside attractions, historical sites and pop-culture locales.

He garnered a devoted following for his genuine curiosity, upbeat style and willingness to take viewers on journeys that ranged from Disney parks to quirky, forgotten corners of America. In addition, he would frequently visit movie locations of iconic films.

Adam’s main channel, “Adam The Woo,” and his second channel, “The Daily Woo,” together attracted hundreds of thousands of subscribers and millions of views.

Fans often praised his ability to make every day feel like an adventure — whether he was strolling through a theme park, browsing an antique store, or uncovering a hidden gem off the beaten path.

His final YouTube video was uploaded on Sunday, December 22, where he strolled through Celebration, Florida, and had a humorous interaction with The Grinch.

He had just returned from a month-long international trip where he documented his travels abroad with some of the locations being Italy, Switzerland, and Malta.

He was planning on spending 2026 traveling thorughout backroads and small towns in the America.


Tributes Pour In

The news of his passing spread quickly online, with fellow creators and fans expressing shock, sadness and appreciation for the joy he brought to their screens.

Many shared heartfelt reactions on social media, noting how Adam’s friendly demeanor and unique point of view inspired them to explore more of the world and to document their own experiences.

One of his friends, singer Beth Vandal, shared her sadness and confirmed the sad news on her Instagram Stories.

“Just got the worst news of my life. One of my besteset friends passed away,” she wrote. “I tried calling andd texting I don’t believe it. We talked every week, it’s going to voicemail, adn no texts going through.”
