Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024 and listed their official date of separation as April 26, 2024. The couple hasn’t been together for months, with Affleck spending his summer in Los Angeles and Lopez spending hers on the East Coast in the Hamptons. They also allegedly haven’t communicated much before and after the divorce filing. </p>
<p id=”par-3_56″>Affleck and Lopez surprised Bennifer fans by attending a brunch in September 2024. The couple met at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel. A source told <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2024/09/16/celebrity-news/ben-affleck-couldnt-keep-his-hands-off-jennifer-lopez/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a> that Affleck wanted to meet at the hot spot, as he hoped paparazzi would take their pictures and show the public that they’re remaining friendly post-divorce.</p>
<p id=”par-4_19″>“It was Ben Affleck’s idea to meet there,” the insider said. “He wanted to show that they are friendly exes.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_21″>According to the insider, Affleck and Lopez’s brunch got more than friendly. Some sources claimed they saw the couple kissing. </p>
<p id=”par-6_34″>“Once they were together, he could not keep his hands off,” the source alleged of Affleck. “They have always had a lot of sexual chemistry. That was not planned. They are still attracted to one another.” </p>

<p id=”par-9_53″>The insider added that the exes came together for a “fun lunch” so their kids could hang out. Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme Muñiz, 16, are close to Affleck’s three kids: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel 12. Fin, Samuel, Max, and Emme hung out at brunch while Violet was in college. </p>
