Bluey fans have shared their delight after an unearthed episode finally dropped in the US, after being banned.

The beloved Australian cartoon follows a dog named Bluey and her adorable family – including mom Chilli, dad Bandit and sister Bingo.

There is no denying that it has become a firm favorite with kids and adults alike all over the world, with some scenes leaving us all in tears.

However, one particular instalment has not been available on Disney+ in America, leading to questions over why it had been banned.

Thankfully, Dad Baby is now available on the official Bluey YouTube channel in full, so you can stream it whenever you want.

The episode sees Bingo finding the exact baby carrier that her parents used to walk her in when she was younger, as Bandit demonstrates how to use it.

Without skipping a beat, the adorable youngster jumps straight into the papoose and Bluey suggests a game, telling her dad: ‘You’re pregnant with baby Bingo, so you have to act pregnant!’

‘Okay, if we’re going to do this, lets do it properly,’ he insists, before complaining of a sore back and feet.

The seven-minute episode ended with Bandit ‘giving birth’ to Bingo in a paddling pool, with assistance from Bluey and Lucky’s dad – who could ‘see the baby crowning’ and one point.

Dad Baby was added to the YouTube channel one day ago and has already been watched more than 1million times at the time of writing.

Fans flocked to social media to rejoice in the return of Bluey and co to their screens, branding the episode ‘hilarious’.

TeruTeruJiru tweeted: ‘This episode was banned for airing on tv here in the US but now it’s on YouTube lol it’s amazing #Bluey.’

Jordan Gardner agreed: ‘At Last, the Banned Episode of Bluey Is on YouTube.’

Over on Reddit, Olegreg762 added: ‘Wife and just watched this with our kid. It’s was hilarious fantastic episode.’

It is not clear why Dad Baby was banned in the US, or whether Disney+ will now add it onto their streaming platforms.

Bluey creator Joe Brumm previously shared his love for the episode despite the reception in America.

When asked if he had found himself questioning whether plots are appropriate for young viewers ‘at other points along the way, he told the Hollywood Reporter: ‘In almost every script, I would say. And some more than others.

‘But you’ve got to be really careful in preschool. There are two categories [of things that won’t fly]. There’s things that are going to get a kid hurt, and I rarely have an argument for that. The other one is more about taste — it’s what’s appropriate and what’s offensive.

‘So, definitely lots of words have to get changed, and then behaviors and concepts get dulled down. And eventually I would just hit these walls, and sometimes I’d say, “Look, I can’t change this. This is too funny.” Or, “I like it too much.” And so, we’d just be like, “Well, we just won’t show that entire episode or that scene or that sequence.”

‘Some of them, like “Dad Baby” [an episode where Bandit, Bluey’s dad, pretends to give birth] for instance, doesn’t get shown in America. But what are you going to do, not make “Dad Baby”? I love it.’

Fair enough.

Bluey is available to stream on Disney+.
