Brad Pitt, 62, and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, 33, came scathingly close to bumping into the latter’s ex-husband at the weekend.
The celebrity couple of around four years, were spotted at the US Open in New York City on Sunday, and were seen chatting in hushed tones.
At one point during the Men’s Final, Brad and Ines were also photographed cuddling, with the Oscar winner placing his hand on the luxury jewellery executive’s lower back.
However, while the pair looked cosy and content, Ines’s ex, actor Paul Wesley, 43, was also in attendance with his new wife, Natalie Kuckenburg, 26.
Paul and Ines were married from 2019, but called it quits in September 2022. Their divorce was finalised in February 2024.
The Vampire Diaries star married his new Brazilian model wife in July 2026, and enjoyed a low-key, spontaneous ceremony with reportedly just an officiating minister and their dog, Greg, in attendance.
Meanwhile, Brad and Ines have been romantically linked since 2022, but only went Instagram official this month, when they shared snaps of the outfits they wore to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish Madison Square Garden wedding.
However, while both exes were in such close proximity, it didn’t stop either couple from looking genuinely happy with their respective partners.
Brad — whose family drama has been in the headlines recently — looked relaxed in a navy shirt and trousers, sunglasses and a baseball cap.
Ines looked as cool as ever in a floral-patterned blouse with scalloped edges and lace details that exposed her shoulders.
She paired the look with fitted jeans, a seashell-shaped clutch and studded black open-toe platforms.
Ines wore her dark brunette locks in a single mermaid braid, but left her bangs loose to frame her face.
Paul looked smart for the occasion too, donning a white shirt with rolled sleeves and brown trousers.
Natalie also looked stunning in a black midi slip dress and kitten heels.
Brad was in the news quite regularly over the summer, after his children used newspaper ads to announce they were dropping his last name.
Brad shares six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
In July, Zahara, 21, and Maddox, 24, officially filed to remove ‘Pitt’ from their surname.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, both Zahara — who was adopted by Angelina in 2005 in Ethiopia, and Maddox, who was also adopted by her in Cambodia in 2002 — published notices of their intentions in the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
Zahara and Maddox were legally adopted by Brad later on.
A month later, daughter Vivienne moved one step closer to legally dropping her father’s surname.
The 18-year-old, who is the former couple’s youngest daughter, filed a petition asking to change her name from Vivienne Jolie-Pitt to simply Vivienne Jolie.
She then completed another required step by publishing a legal notice announcing the proposed change.
As per court documents obtained by TMZ, Vivienne’s petition appeared in the Los Angeles Daily Journal once a week for four consecutive weeks, as required under California’s name-change procedure.
