Actor Bradley Cooper and model Gigi Hadid have sparked engagement rumours following reports that Cooper has asked Hadid’s mum, Yolanda, for her daughter’s hand in marriage. The pair have been dating ever since they were first spotted publicly together after a ‘secret weekend away’ in New York in October 2023. Now, Cooper and Hadid appear to be taking the next step – if reports about their intention to tie the knot are to be believed. October 2023: Hadid and Cooper are seen together for the first time
Dating rumours began when the couple were spotted out and about in New York City together in October 2023. Hadid, who was 28 at the time, had been single since her split from Zayn Malik, the father of her daughter Khai, but had been linked to Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio. Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper, who was 48 at the time, had previously been in a relationship with Gigi’s model friend Irina Shayk, and shares a daughter, Lea De Seine, with the Victoria’s Secret star. In the following months, the pair were seen stepping out together several times, including a trip to the theatre and a star-studded girls’ night out Cooper seemingly crashed, with Hadid’s friends Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, Cara Delevingne, and Brittany Mahomes all in attendance. August 2024: They go on a family holiday
More dates followed, as well as a night at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and a trip to the the BottleRock Food and Music Festival in May 2024. But in August things seemed to get more serious, after the couple went on holiday to Sardinia with Bradley Cooper’s family. January 2025: The sources weigh in
Since the pair were first rumoured to be together, various sources have given an insight into how their relationship has progressed. And in January 2025, a source told People that the pair are ‘serious about each other’. The insider said that the couple’s daughters ‘spend time together’, adding that ‘it’s very sweet’. In May 2025 the supermodel shared a photo dump for her 30th birthday party, one of which included a shot of her and Bradley Cooper sharing a kiss. Writing in the caption, Hadid said: ‘I feel so lucky to be 30! I feel so lucky for every high and low- for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all! I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!’ In the comments, fans gushed over the photos, with one writing: ‘You and Bradley are so cute’. December 2025: They give their first joint interview
Earlier this month, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were stopped in the street in New York City by influencer David Carmi, who hosts the ‘Confidence Heist’ video series on Instagram, where he asks celebrities what makes them confident. Hadid first sparked engagement rumours earlier this year, at her 30th birthday party, when she was pictured wearing a band on her ring finger. Rumours amped up a notch this month with reports that Cooper has asked Hadid’s reality TV star mum, Yolanda, for her daughter’s hand in marriage. And it comes after a source told Page Six in July that Cooper is ‘considering marriage and kids with Gigi.’ The insider added: ‘He might pop the question in the next couple of months’.
