According to People, Clooney weighed in on early casting rumors suggesting Robbie and Ryan Gosling might play his parents in the prequel in December 2023, saying, “Yeah! Margot Robbie is my mother? I’ve always thought that,” Clooney joked. “Ryan Gosling is my father. Now when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.”

The actor also confirmed that an “Ocean’s Fourteen” sequel is in development, reuniting much of the original cast. “We just got the budget approved at Warner Bros. and we’re trying to set up,” Clooney told E! News, adding that filming could begin “in about nine or ten months.”
