The Britain’s Got Talent judges began screaming and begging for an act to stop after a stunt nearly went disastrously wrong.

An acrobatic trio named Serbat Troupe got hearts pounding with their daring routine, which they performed without any safety gear.

Having travelled all the way from Kazakhstan, the trio initially promised the panel something they had never seen before.

‘It’s one of the biggest stages in the world,’ they said when asked why they had entered the competition.

‘We want to win Britain’s Got Talent because this is a dream.’

And their chances of winning may have just skyrocketed after they wowed viewers with their recovery from what had potential to be a fatal fall.

At one point in the act, a performer attempted to scale a ladder while another was balancing on their head in a handstand position.

In shocking scenes, a member of the group fell to the stage in a particularly difficult move as he tried to balance on one hand.

What followed was gasps from the audience, with Bruno Tonioli exclaiming: ‘Oh my God! Is he alright?’

‘End it there, end it there,’ pleaded Amanda Holden.

‘They don’t have to do it!’, begged Bruno.

Despite the judges’ pleas, the crowd started cheering.

‘No. It’s silly. You don’t need to,’ said Alesha Dixon.

‘I don’t want any more, no.’

‘Oh, my heart’s beating,’ said presenter Declan Donnelly.

Following rapturous applause and motivation from the crowd, the stunt act got back on their feet.

Determined to try the move again, thankfully, they succeeded on the second attempt, earning four yeses from the judges for their efforts.

‘I nearly had a heart attack! You nearly killed me,’ declared Bruno after the performance.

‘It was so compelling. I nearly passed out. I have never seen anything like it. I think it was brilliant,’ he praised.

Alesha described the act as ‘absolutely exhausting’ and said she ‘needs a lie down’.

‘So brilliant, but so tense and scary, and I don’t think we’ve ever seen anything like that before,’ complimented Amanda.

Head judge Simon also had a glowing review.

‘Honestly, to do this without a net and to see how easily this could go wrong and how skilful it was, it was a great audition.’

Reacting to the audition, viewers were just as gripped, then impressed when things finally went according to plan.

‘Watching @BGT how amazing was Taryn and the Serbat troupe, mind blown!!’, wrote hollykane88 on X.

‘I can’t even balance a glass of water, never mind balancing someone on my head, climbing a pair of ladders, turning around and going down the other side!’, joked an impressed azz_sparks.

Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV.
