Britney Spears has shared a health update, explaining that she may need to undergo surgery after her recent injury.
The Toxic singer sparked concern last week when she was pictured barefoot and in tears outside the Chateau Marmont, in the middle of the night.
The 42-year-old dismissed ‘fake news’ surrounding the incident but said she felt ‘completely harassed’ by paramedics after twisting her ankle
After sharing a glimpse of her swollen ankle, she has now revealed that ‘some s**t’ actually happened to her foot.
Alongside a video as she relaxed on a farm, the pop princess hit back at the ongoing scrutiny as she began a lengthy comment: ‘I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed!!!
‘Either way, some s**t actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery … fingers crossed, hopefully not but I feel that I was harassed and gaslit and tricked to go on the street when my car was supposed to be there!!!

‘I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because I hurt my foot!!! No breakdown!!!
‘I’m a grown ass woman who is actually very naive in most situations!!! I am simply embarrassed they got me in my damn pajamas!!!
‘I don’t feel loved … I feel mistreated!!! With that said, I’m going to treat myself this week!!!’
Britney was spotted in distress on Thursday in LA, wrapped in a blanket and clutching a pillow outside the hotel.
She was led outside to emergency services alongside her security team and boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz – as well as a fire engine and ambulance.

At the time, the Baby, One More Time musician said that she tried to ‘do a leap’ while at the Chateau – but ‘fell’.
Amid fears of a mental health crisis, the mom-of-two addressed worried fans on social media, vowing she is ‘getting stronger’ every day.
She posted on Instagram: ’Just to let people know … the news is fake!!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday!!!
‘Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie [cry laughing emoji]]??? Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too!!!’
‘I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally,’ she concluded the message.

‘They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston!!! Peace.’
In a subsequent video, Britney gave fans a glimpse into her injury, unveiling her swollen, bruised ankle.
’I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot,’ she added. ‘It’s so bad. F**king idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau, and I fell and embarrassed myself, and that’s it.
‘Paramedics came to my door illegally [and] of course caused this huge scene, which was so unnecessary. And all I needed was ice. But yeah, it is actually pretty bad. But s**t happens.’
A spokesman from the Los Angeles fire department confirmed: ‘Emergency services received a call at 12.42am with reports of an adult female injured.
‘At 1am an ambulance arrived on the premises. I can confirm no-one was transported. Services left the scene at 1.17am. The police department were not called.’
