<p id=”par-3_68″>“She has someone in her life that’s really amazing that I am head over heels for,” Kristen told <a href=”https://people.com/brittany-cartwright-dating-new-boyfriend-kristen-doute-approves-exclusive-11796061″>People</a> during the At Home With Narwal’s End of Summer Soiree in Los Angeles on August 21. “She’s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband, and I have not approved of them. They’ve been fine, but not wonderful. This person is very wonderful and very cool. Very family-feeling.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_32″>While the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/vanderpump-rules-most-dramatic-moments-between-ariana-madix-kristen-doute-ultimately-became-friends.html/”><em>Vanderpump Rules </em>alum</a> did not reveal the identity of the mystery man, she did say that he and Brittany have a lot in common since they are both single parents. </p>
<p id=”par-5_16″>“He’s a dad, so it makes it really easy,” she said. “A lot easier and understandable.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_28″>Brittany hasn’t commented on her rumored romance. But she attended the event with Kristen, where she was spotted getting cozy with a new guy, according to <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2025/08/22/celebrity-news/brittany-cartwright-spotted-on-pda-packed-date-night-with-mystery-man-amid-jax-taylor-divorce/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-7_22″>“They were holding hands as they walked to the valet,” a source said. “Brittany looked quite smitten and was glowing all evening.”</p>

The couple, who married in 2019, announced their separation in February 2024. Jax later entered rehab to deal with his anger and substance abuse issues. But the marriage wasn’t salvageable, and Brittany chose to walk away. Their relationship breakdown played out in <em>The Valley </em>Season 2, which recently wrapped its second season. Jax has since confirmed he won’t return if the show is renewed for season 3. </p>
<p id=”par-9_39″>Brittany is apparently taking things slow as she starts dating again after her non-yet-final divorce, with Kristen saying she wasn’t sure if the new relationship was serious. For now, the Bravo star is focused on getting her “sparkle” back. </p>
<p id=”par-10_26″>“I’m in a much better places than I was last summer,” Brittany told Tom Schwartz during an appearance on his <a href=”https://podcasts.apple.com/ee/podcast/detox-retox-with-tom-schwartz/id1809814905″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>Detox Retox</em></a><em> </em>podcast on August 12. </p>
<p id=”par-11_31″>“I’m excited for season 3,” she added. “Because I feel like it’s my time to be happy and healthy and just a whole different Brittany than what you saw last season.” </p>
