The Oscar-winning star was spotted enjoying a rare vacation in Hawaii over the weekend, where she spent quality time with her daughters, per images obtained by the Daily Mail.

The 50-year-old actress turned heads as she hit a white sand beach on Saturday, March 28, effortlessly showcasing her signature confidence in a yellow bikini.

A Devoted Mom of Two

While she’s known for commanding roles in films like “Monster,” Theron has been equally vocal about the importance of motherhood in her life.

The actress, who adopted both of her daughters, has often described becoming a parent as one of the most defining choices she’s made.

In a candid July 2025 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with Alex Cooper, Theron opened up about raising her children as a single mom and why it’s a path she fully embraces.

“With women, it’s always like, something must be wrong with her. She can’t keep a man, and it’s never part of the discussion of like, ‘Wow. She’s really living her truth,’“ she said. “I look at them and just be like, ‘Do you know how [expletive] great it is to live exactly how I want to live, to experience motherhood exactly how I wanted to experience it?’”

Theron Is Happy She Did Motherhood Her Way

Theron also addressed criticism she’s faced over her parenting choices, making it clear she stands firmly behind her decisions.

“I know the next thing they say is like, ‘Well, that’s not fair on your kids.’ Can I tell you something? That will be their story to tell,” she continued. “I can only tell you that this is the best way that I know how to be a mother to them… and my [expletive] god do I love every single day of it.”

She added, “I love that I don’t have to share them with somebody… I [expletive] love that I don’t have to do any of that stuff. I broke the cycle.”

Years earlier, Theron also spoke about always wanting to adopt, later sharing how her daughters bring constant joy to her life.

“My kids make me laugh like nobody’s business,” she said in a 2018 interview with PEOPLE, adding that even the more challenging parenting moments are worth it.
