Christina Hendricks reveals more photos from her goth New Orleans wedding

Christina Hendricks married George Bianchini in New Orleans two weekends ago. Christina has been parceling out the photos and exclusives on her Instagram and People Magazine. Her wedding was a three-day affair with a loyal group of friends and family. They wore fabulous clothes, they did a ghost tour of spooky NOLA and they drank many cocktails. Christina described herself as an old or former goth, and basically the old-school New Orleans goth vibes were fabulous. Well, we were begging for more photos and Christina finally gave People some exclusive shots of her Katya Katya London gown – you can see the pics here. Christina also posted the “cocktail party” look on her own IG – a gorgeous dress designed by Christian Siriano, who attended the wedding.

Christina Hendricks said “I do” in style! For her three-day wedding celebration to camera operator George Bianchini in New Orleans, the style-loving actress was decked out in an array of stunning dresses. She told PEOPLE ahead of the nuptials she was set on “wearing gowns all weekend,” joking, “If I’m overdressed, it doesn’t matter!”

She encouraged her guests — who included Mad Men creator Matt Weiner and Good Girls costars Mae Whitman and Retta— to join her. “[I told them], ‘You can get just as dressed up as me if you’d like. Let’s do it together with the overdressed and fabulous all weekend long!’ ”

Hendricks’ bridal style showcase began with a Christian Siriano cocktail gown, worn to the couple’s welcome party on Friday, April 19, held at a mini mansion on the grounds of the Soniat House hotel. Hendricks says she sent Siriano — who also attended the wedding — photos of the party venue and he came up with a dress that perfectly complemented the elegant space.

“He did such an extraordinary job on it,” she raves of Siriano’s design. “It fit the room exactly. It looked almost like exquisite pottery” She took the glamorous look — which she accessorized with antique jewelry — out onto the streets of the French Quarter that evening for a ghost tour with her wedding guests. “That’s how I’ve always wanted to traipse the streets of New Orleans at night — in a serious gown with a drink in hand, just walking around,” she says of the moment.

For the main event — her April 20 wedding ceremony with Bianchini at Napoleon House — the Mad Men star wore a Katya Katya gown. Early into her planning, Hendricks spotted the brand on Pinterest and reached out to them. When she tried it on for the first time she started to cry “because it was so beautiful.” She paired the look with a Claire Pettibone custom version of her Boho Juliet veil with pale grey silk ribbons and lace flowers.

While I could honestly take or leave the Katya Katya gown now that I’ve seen the full-length photos, I can see how the dress fit the mood of the wedding, and it totally looks at home in a historic New Orleans property. While the style is different, Christina’s old-world wedding vibe reminds me a bit of Alexandra Daddario’s NOLA wedding – a bit quirky, not a cookie-cutter wedding gown or wedding vibe.
