Christine McGuinness has opened up about her new mystery romance in the wake of her divorce from ex-husband Paddy McGuinness.
Christine has largely kept her personal life private in recent months as she finalises her divorce from Paddy.
Christine, 36, and Paddy, 50, announced their split in 2022 and reportedly settled their divorce this week while remaining friends and living together to co-parent their children Leo and Penelope, 10, and Felicity, seven.
Since then, Christine has been focused on her career, her children, and her personal growth – but now it seems she’s made time for love.
The Daily Mail reports that Christine opened up about her new love, saying she feels more centered than ever before.
She said: ‘I met them on my birthday through mutual friends and we’ve been dating since June. It’s someone I know. I wasn’t thinking anything at the time but we kept in touch and it’s so nice and laidback.’

She went on to clarify that the new couple don’t use any labels, which she finds liberating. She also shared that her ex-husband has yet to meet her new romantic interest.
She continued: ‘After having a relationship in the public eye for so long I’m not sure I want the relationship to be public. I’ve only ever known what it was like to have a relationship that’s in the public. This is nice.’
She went on to say that she’s been very honest with this new person about the fact that she’s not interested in having another relationship in the public eye, and shared that they’ve been very accepting of where she is on her emotional journey.
These comments follow a statement that made many believe she was actually single. ‘I’m very happily single,’ she told The Mirror. ‘That’s the right thing for me. I know that I deserve love and I know that one day I will find love again.’
The model previously sparked rumours of romance after sharing several cosy snaps with DJ Roxxxan on her Instagram account.

She posted a montage of pictures, giving fans a glimpse into her life, which included late-night partying with the DJ.
In the series of photos, Christine and Roxxxan appeared to be enjoying each other’s company as they partied into the early hours.
Christine captioned the post: ‘Life lately. Camera roll from the last couple of weeks. So much more to catch up. I’ll update more soon.’
The post has left fans speculating about the nature of their relationship, especially since this is not the first time the two have been seen together.
Recently, Christine shared holiday snaps at a destination that the DJ was also clearly at, based on her Instagram.
