He’s been called the Lionel Messi of darts, but soon you might have the chance to take on Luke Littler thanks to a live Netflix event.
The darts sensation is giving amateur players the chance to take on the world champion for a £501,000 prize in an event called Beat Luke Littler.
Taking place on October 30, the event is open to anyone aged 12 and over, with 20 hopefuls eventually selected to face Littler.
Announcing the show in a video, Littler said: ‘Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let’s go.’
The £501,000 jackpot is a nod to the standard 501-point format used in darts, where players attempt to reach zero.

Those participating will be hoping to emulate the success of Littler, who was just 16 when he made the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship final.
Since then, Littler has gone on to cement his name as one of the best darts players ever.
Some of his titles include the Premier League, the Grand Slam of Darts and in January 2025 he became the youngest-ever PDC world champion and world number one at the age of 17.
Prior to Netflix’s announcement, Littler recently retained his Betfred World Matchplay title over Gerwyn Price in Blackpool.
He averaged a record-breaking 111.53 in the final, helping him finish the tournament with an overall average of 111.04, which betters Phil Taylor’s previous 106.31.
Littler also smashed his own World Matchplay record for 180s, landing 66 maximums across the tournament, with 12 in the final alone.
Beat Luke Littler airs on October 30 live on Netflix.
