<p id=”par-1_27″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/drake/”>Drake</a> and Adin Ross are stepping in to cover the cost of funeral expenses for French content creator Jean Pormanove, who recently died during a dayslong livestream. </p>
<p id=”par-2_59″>“This is horrible and disgusting. Whoever was apart of this deserves to face severe consequences,” controversial streamer Ross wrote in an August 19 post on <a href=”https://x.com/AR15thed3mon/status/1957919823352189067#m” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X</a>. “I just spoke with drake. Drake and I will be covering the funeral costs , this won’t bring his life back, it’s the least we can do. Prayers go out to Jean’s family.” </p>
<p id=”par-3_78″>Pormanove, whose real name was Raphaël Graven, had established a substantial following on platforms such as Twitch, TikTok, and Kick. Some of his videos reportedly showing him being humiliated and abused as viewers watched live. On August 18, the 46-year-old died during a live broadcast on Kick that had lasted nearly 300 hours, <a href=”https://www.lemonde.fr/en/france/article/2025/08/20/french-streamer-dies-live-on-air-after-months-of-humiliation-and-abuse_6744540_7.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Le Monde</a> reports. Footage from the disturbing incident allegedly shows other participants in the stream beating and choking Pormanove before his death, according to <a href=”https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2025/08/20/France-Raphael-Graven-Kick-streamer-JP-Jean-Pormanove-violent-death/7891755698449/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>UPI</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-4_31″>The tragic incident has sparked widespread outcry and comparisons to the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/black-mirror-season-7-3-episodes-happen-real-life-experts-predict.html/”>dystopian TV series <em>Black Mirror</em></a><em>. </em>Authorities in France are investigating Pormanove’s death, which one official described as an “absolute horror.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_25″>In a statement, Kick said it was “deeply saddened” by Pormanove’s death and that it was extending “out condolences to his family, friends, and community.” </p>
