Dua Lipa and Callum Turner are officially married!
The Grammy-winning pop star, 30, and 36-year-old actor (currently lined up to be the next James Bond) tied the knot in London this weekend.
Opting for a surprisingly low-key ceremony, the lovebirds exchanged vows at Old Marylebone Town Hall (where Sir Paul McCartney and Liam Gallagher have both married twice) with close friends and family in attendance.
The Levitating hitmaker arrived in a green Land Rover and entered with a friend for the ceremony, which lasted 30-40 minutes.
Dua looked gorgeous, pictures obtained by the Daily Mail show, having ditched her typical sparkly stage leotards for a demure white dress and oversized hat, pairing the chic attire with white heels and a blazer.
She beamed while holding her husband’s hand as they emerged from the building as newlyweds, the Hollywood film star looking every inch the 007 in a dapper navy suit.
Overjoyed pals showered the pair with confetti as Dua and Callum climbed into a black cab, embracing before being whisked away to begin married life.
Their subtle marriage ceremony follows rumours that they have simultaneously been organising a big blow-out spanning three days.
It was reported that Dua and Callum would be saying ‘I do’ in Sicily, with plenty of big names on the guest list, including Charli XCX and Tove Lo.
Whispers even suggested that Sir Elton John, who duetted with Dua on the huge tune Cold Heart, could perform.
It’s now said that they will head to Palermo next week for a second wedding and a big party, due to last from Thursday to Saturday.
An insider previously told The Sun that ‘Dua and Callum are both ecstatic that they’re finally getting married’, as they are ‘head over heels for each other’.
‘The original plan was for an intimate wedding, but it is now going to be a massive, luxurious affair across three days.
‘She attended Charli’s wedding in Sicily last year and was really inspired to push the boat out for her own Italian celebrations.’
The source added that it was to be a ‘true fairytale wedding’, with Dua and Callum ‘renting out multiple huge venues for the multi-event extravaganza’, but keeping exact details under wraps due to concerns of fans intruding.
It has since emerged that no expense has been spared, as they’ve reportedly booked out a whole floor of suites at the luxurious Villa Igiea hotel, which overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea.
They’ll then exchange vows for a second time at the 17th-century Villa Valguarnera, with collaborator Mark Ronson and fashion designer Donatella Versace watching on.
Donatella is said to have been designing Dua’s second dress, with the performer flying to Italy to meet up with her and finalise the details.
Additionally, in further preparation for their big day, it was claimed that the lovers had been doing daily workouts at the stylish members’ club 180 House in the capital, with Dua telling friends she ‘cannot wait to walk down the aisle’.
Dua and Callum’s romance got serious in early 2024, and they confirmed their engagement last July.
She told British Vogue: ‘Yeah, we‘re engaged. It’s very exciting.
‘This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever — it’s a really special feeling.’
Asked about planning the nuptials, Dua shared: ‘I want to finish my tour; Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period…
‘I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I’m like, “Oh, what would I wear?”‘
She went on to declare she’d ‘love to have kids one day’, but questions whether there would ever be a ‘good time’, due to the nature of her job and the chunk of time she’d have to take out.
In the meantime, she’s still enjoying her jet-setting lifestyle, frequently making fans envious with her tropical travel snaps on Instagram following the end of her Radical Optimism stadium tour.
Rumours also continue to swirl that Callum is to be announced as Daniel Craig’s successor, emerging as the favourite in the Bond race ahead of stars such as Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Dua is believed to be ‘over the moon’ for her man to potentially be landing such an iconic role, even saying she’d ‘love to record the theme tune’.
