Ruth Langsford is reported to be taking her revenge on Eamonn Holmes after their shock split, leaving him ‘furious’.
The former couple announced they were parting ways earlier this year after 14 years of marriage, with reports stating work commitments had resulted in them drifting in ‘different directions’.
They’ve since said very little about the split, though Eamonn, 64, has been pictured on a romantic holiday with his new 42-year-old girlfriend, while there were reports Ruth, 64, had hired a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer.
And it’s now been said that the Loose Women star is adapting her home to life without Eamonn, having removed his stairlift.
It’s claimed she made the decision to get rid of the £2,000 equipment before the GB News presenter returned to collect his final belongings from their Surrey mansion.
A source claimed: ‘Ruth has remained quiet and classy. Even when people bring up what Eamonn has been up to, she stays silent and just smiles. She thinks that is the best way. She has had a lot of support from her friends.’

They added to The Daily Mail: ‘But one thing she would see every day was the stairlift which Eamonn installed. Ruth doesn’t need it.
‘She’s super-fit and healthy but she knew Eamonn probably would struggle when he had to go the house to get some bits he needed for the holiday. The bedrooms are upstairs and he needed to get to them.
‘It might seem petty but Ruth’s friends think it is absolutely hilarious as they think he has really taken her for a ride.
‘You can imagine how furious Eamonn was. He was probably expecting to be able to use the stairlift to get his stuff and quickly get out again and pack for his holiday.’

The former This Morning star slipped three discs in his back in 2021, losing ‘full mobility’, and has spoken about his chronic pain and difficulty walking.
He then underwent spinal surgery the following year, which left him off air for almost four months as he recovered, however, he suffered a major setback when he fell down the stairs, later saying he ‘smashed’ his shoulder.
He has since been pictured using crutches and a wheelchair during rare public appearances, and recently said he was on ‘borrowed time’ and that he was ‘not OK’, with Ruth saying weeks before their split that he ‘might never be 100% right’.
Speaking on GB News earlier this year, Eamonn said: ‘I have been basically disabled for a year and a half or so, and it’s horrendous.
‘I have to have carers to do the smallest, simplest thing.
‘It’s humiliating, it’s humbling, and thank goodness that the carers are available.’
