As a sweltering heat continues to consume Britain, finally, somebody has managed to perfectly capture how we’re all feeling.
From closing schools to Covid-style queues for people trying to buy air con units from Lidl, most people in Britain are desperate to know when this heatwave will end.
Earlier today, the Met Office revealed that Thursday is the UK’s hottest June day on record with a provisional temperature of 36.4°C having been recorded in Yeovilton, Somerset.
This was 0.3°C hotter than yesterday’s high of 36.1°C in Gosport, Hampshire.
It comes as the Met Office has warned temperatures could reach as high as 39°C as red and amber weather warnings remain in place.
However, speaking on BBC Breakfast, one elderly woman has gone viral for her ‘iconic’ response about the UK’s heatwave.
Donning a sun hat with sunglasses and a green dress, the lady was asked by a presenter about her thoughts on the hot conditions.
‘I like it to be steady at around 23°C, she told the camera. ‘It’s hot enough for me.’
Responding to her comments, the presenter told her ‘it might be up to 40°C’ later in the week.
Giving him a look of thunder, the woman then said: ‘I don’t want that.’
This comes after viewers were left in stiches following another BBC Breakfast interview.

Yesterday, as an RSPCA expert was interviewed live on the channel, a dog could be seen with a duck in his mouth in the background.
After diving into the water at Richmond Upon Thames, the dog can then be seen seemingly playing fetch with the duck.
Reacting to the moment online, social media users found the moment hilarious, as one user wrote: ‘Seen this and my husband and I couldn’t stop laughing.’
Another user called Cooper also added: ‘That is so bad especially considering they were interviewing someone from the RSPCA.’
