After seven years together, Kevin Connolly and Zulay Henao are officially engaged. The actor proposed to the Colombian-American actress during an intimate Fourth of July celebration in his hometown of Long Island, New York, with their 4-year-old daughter, Kennedy, present for the unforgettable moment.
âIt was intimate, personal and so full of love,â Henao told People. âHaving Kennedy there made it unforgettable.â
An Intimate Proposal Surrounded by Family
In addition to confirming the news in an exclusive interview with People, Henao also shared the engagement with her more than 300,000 Instagram followers. She posted a carousel of photos featuring the happy couple, close-up shots of her stunning engagement ring, and a sweet image of their daughter standing beneath a rainbow.

Connolly, best known for his role as Eric âEâ Murphy on the hit HBO series “Entourage,” presented Henao with a âclassic and modernâ emerald-cut solitaire diamond ring featuring a hidden halo and set in a two-tone gold band. The piece was custom-designed by renowned jeweler KC Sukamto.
Following the proposal, the couple celebrated with a quiet dinner and fireworks under the stars, joined by close family.
A Love Story Seven Years in the Making
Their relationship dates back to at least 2018, when Connolly appeared in a group photo on Henaoâs Instagram. In 2019, he publicly tagged her in a post highlighting their work on the series “The Oath.”
The couple announced they were expecting their first child in January 2021, with Henao sharing a photo of her baby bump and revealing she was 18 weeks along. Their daughter, Kennedy, was born in June 2021, weighing 6 lbs., 14 oz.
