Fears grow for Married at First Sight producer who vanished two weeks ago

A television producer who worked on Married At First Sight Australia has been reported missing after disappearing more than two weeks ago.

Katie Walker, 46, was last heard from on May 22 and has not been seen since, prompting growing concern from family, friends, and police. Her last known movements were believed to be on Bondi Beach, Sydney.

According to New South Wales Police, Walker was last spoken to by phone on Friday, May 22, with her final known movements believed to have been in Sydney’s eastern suburbs the following day.

Police launched an investigation shortly after her disappearance was reported and have now appealed to the public for help locating her.

In a statement shared on social media, officers said: ‘Can you help us find Katie?

‘Katie, aged 46, was last spoken to by phone on Friday, 22 May 2026.’

As the search continues, those close to Walker are reportedly becoming increasingly worried about her welfare.

Walker has built a lengthy career in television and media production, most recently working as a producer for creative agency Elastic, which has produced campaigns for major brands including Smeg, Kia Australia, and Commonwealth Bank.

Before that, she spent several months at EndemolShine Australia, where she worked on season 12 of the hugely popular reality series Married At First Sight Australia.

The dating show has become one of Australia’s biggest television exports, attracting millions of viewers worldwide and generating headlines for its dramatic relationships.

Police say Walker is of Caucasian appearance, approximately 160cm tall, with a thin build, brown eyes, and long brown hair. She also has a distinctive small black butterfly tattoo on her right hand.

Investigators believe she frequently spent time around Sydney’s eastern suburbs, including the Bondi area where she was reportedly last seen.

Authorities have urged anyone who may have seen Walker, or who has information about her whereabouts, to come forward.
