A major upcoming animated film has been hit by a huge leak months ahead of its release, with clips racking up an estimated 10 million views online before being removed.
Footage from Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender, an anticipated return to the beloved Nickelodeon universe, began circulating on social media after a user claimed they had been sent the full movie by mistake.
The account, posting under the name @ImStillDissin, shared more than three minutes of what appeared to be scenes from the unreleased film, showing older versions of Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko reunited with a new voice cast.
The clips quickly spread across platforms, drawing millions of views as fans rushed to watch what could be one of the most significant animation leaks in recent years. At one point, the original posts had amassed over 100,000 likes, while reuploads pushed total views to 10 million.
The user behind the leak escalated the situation further by suggesting they might stream the entire film online if official footage was not released soon.
The film, currently scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ in October 2026 after dropping a planned theatrical release, has yet to receive an official trailer, making the sudden appearance of extended footage even more surprising.

Not for me
Viewers who watched the clips reported seeing key story moments as well as performances from newly announced cast members, including Dave Bautista and Taika Waititi, though it remains unclear how final the leaked material was.
Shortly after gaining traction, the videos were taken down following a copyright complaint, with a notice replacing them stating that the media had been disabled at the request of the rights holder.
Neither Paramount nor Nickelodeon have publicly commented on the leak.
The project, first announced in 2024, is expected to launch a trilogy of animated films set in the Avatar universe, with several title changes already confusing fans before settling on Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender.
The universe of the film is set in a world ravaged by war, where there are some people who are able to ‘bend’ water, fire, air and earth, as well as an Avatar who has the power to master all four of the classical elements and is destined to bring balance and peace.
With no official footage released and anticipation already high, the leak has left many fans debating whether to seek out the clips or avoid spoilers entirely in the months leading up to its premiere.
