Caterina Murino is embracing a long-awaited dream â motherhood.
The former Bond Girl, best known for starring opposite Daniel Craig in “Casino Royale” (2006), has revealed that she is pregnant with her first child at the age of 47.

Caterina Murino Expecting Baby Boy With Longtime Partner After IVF
People reported that Murino is due at the end of the summer, just before she turns 48 in September. She is expecting a baby boy with her partner of eight years, French lawyer Ãdouard Rigaud. The couple met in 2019 and currently live in Parisâs Montmartre district.
Murino shared with Gala that Rigauthat she had supported her through the complex fertility process, which included two miscarriages and what she described as a âtryingâ IVF journey.
The Pregnancy Is Going Smoothly So Far
Despite the hardships of getting pregnant, Murino said she’s feeling great during this stage of pregnancy. “I haven’t had any discomfort, no diabetes, no insomnia,” she shared with Gala.
The couple has already chosen a name for their baby boy and are keeping it under wraps for now. Murino shared that she and Rigaud each picked a name, and both are Italian.
Murino Shared the Happy News With Fans on Instagram
Murino also announced her pregnancy on Instagram on July 4.
She thanked Gala and the team she worked with on the feature and accompanying photoshoot.
On July 6, she gave fans another glimpse of her baby bump by sharing a photo from a shoot with Le magazine 30 Millions d’amis. In the caption, she used the moment to raise awareness about animal adoption.
