A former Gogglebox star is set to sign up for a dating series on Channel 4 weeks after announcing his divorce, it’s been reported.
In April, husbands Stephen Lustig-Webb and Daniel Lustig-Webb – who had been on Gogglebox together since 2018 – announced that they had split after six years of marriage.
Stephen, 52, first joined the show in 2013, appearing on it with his partner at the time Christopher Steed until 2017, followed by his mum Patt Webb, who died in January this year.
When the Gogglebox stars shared the news of their divorce last month, they said in a joint statement that they had ‘grown apart’, but that there would always be ‘a lot of love’ between them.
They later proved that they’re still on great terms, sharing photos and videos together on social media, including one fun snap of them posing in their hairdressing salon.
It’s now been claimed that Stephen is already looking to find love once again by joining the E4 programme Celebs Go Dating.

‘Stephen is set to sign up for Celebs Go Dating after successful advanced talks with E4 producers,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Bosses were really keen to get him as soon as they heard he and Stephen had split as they know viewers will invest in his path to finding love again, and he’s already a big favourite with Channel 4 viewers after years on Gogglebox.’
The source said that the reality star is ‘really keen to have some fun again after a difficult few months’, on top of the fact that he had to pull out of Dancing On Ice after sustaining an injury.
With that in mind, he’s said to feel ‘excited to take on a new project’.

While several celebrities go on Celebs Go Dating with the hope of finding committed relationships, the insider claimed that Stephen is ‘realistic that he may not find Mr Right’, but he is ‘up for a laugh on the dating scene’.
It was recently reported that former Married At First Sight star Ella Morgan is set to join the line-up of the show, which would make her the first transgender person to join the cast.
Other famous faces rumoured to be taking part include Love Island’s Hannah Elizabeth and Made In Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps.
The last series, which aired in 2023, featured Vanessa Feltz, Adam Collard, Lottie Moss and Chloe Burrows in the cast.
