Hilary Duff has given birth to her fourth child, revealing the unique name for her baby girl.
The Lizzy McGuire icon welcomed the little one – her third with husband Matthew Koma – on May 3, via a water birth.
Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old introduced fans to the newborn, confirming they had decided to name her Townes Meadow Bair.
Alongside the stunning snaps, she penned: ‘Townes Meadow Bair, now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!
‘I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic.
‘We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty. 5/3/24.’

Right on cue, fans and famous faces rushed to celebrate the new arrival in the comments below, sharing their support for the happy couple.
Jelly_Bean89 replied: ‘Omg I’m crying for you!!!!!! Congratulations and welcome sweet baby!!!!’
‘Sweet little baby Townes!!! Congratulations to you all. Love you!!,’ HankTina agreed.
Paolo Presta shared: ‘AHHHH she is absolutely beautiful and congratulations Hilary, Matthew and Family!! I am so happy for y’all.’

Hilary confirmed her pregnancy at the end of last year, while posting a snippet of her family Christmas card on social media.
The cover of the card showed her cradling her growing bump in pastel pink pyjamas, beside her husband, her son and two daughters.
A message reading: ‘So much for a silent night,’ bordered the sweet image, while a message inside added: ‘Buckle up buttercups! We’re adding one more to this crazy crew!’

Hilary is already mom to son Luca from her marriage to Mike Comrie, and shares daughters Banks and Mae with Matthew.
The pair first met when they collaborated on the How I Met Your Father star’s Breathe In. Breathe Out album, in 2015.
They dated on-and-off for some time before making things serious in 2017, and welcoming daughter Banks in 2018.
Matthew popped the question while on a walk in New York in 2019, and they tied the knot in December of that year.
‘We love to take walks together, and so he’s like, let’s go on a walk, you had a day. Let’s just get out and chat and catch up, there’s this new park I want to take you to, and it’s supposed to be gorgeous,’ she told Vogue of the proposal.
‘All of a sudden he says, “I’ve been working on something for you, and you’re going to love it. I really want our kids to know our story and now we can keep adding to this book”.
‘It’s our whole entire story mapped out for us to refer back to as we get older and for our kids to know, which is amazing.
‘I get to the very last page, and there’s a little piece that I have to lift up and my ring was inside. It was so sweet. It was really special and really simple, which is very much how we are and how we operate. Then it started raining, and it was perfect.’
Hilary and Matthew went on to welcome daughter Mae James in 2021, before adding to their family once again this month.
